:: Building -

The University Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year 2001, with the prior approval of AICTE with an intake of 60 students in B. Pharm. Since 2004, the Institute is an approved Research Center and has started Ph.D. programme under the Faculty of Technology (Pharmacy).

A Specious building having constructed in area about 40,000 Sq.ft. and spread in 5 acres of land. The institute classrooms are spacious, healthy ventilated and lighted providing the teaching-learning process a pleasing experience. Each classroom is equipped with modern audio-visual teaching aids to help the deliverance of lectures and also perform of student seminars. There are more than 15 laboratories, each devoted to a particular branch in pharmacy, animal house, medicinal garden and central instrument room with modern sophisticated instrument worth more than 1.5 crores.

The laboratories are equipped with modern equipments, sufficient apparatus, chemicals, reagents. Safety is given top precedence with each laboratory provided with outlet, fire extinguisher & first-aid box. In the Ph. D and M. Pharma department, laboratories have been developed keeping research orientation in mind with research grade chemicals and advanced research equipments & instruments. The Institute provides separate common rooms for boys and girls for their relaxation and informal discussions. The common rooms are furnished with locker facility and basic facilities.

Independent classrooms, laboratories, computer lab, Balance room ,Instrument room. boys/girls common room, an audio-visual seminar hall and departmental library, conference hall is in the building.
